- Can I use my own phone in the room?
- Yes, you can plug your phone into one of the University’s phone jacks.
- My phone isn't working and neither is my network connection
- Try switching the jacks - if neither are working, it's usually a jack mix-up.
- I’m hearing a strange dial tone - what does it mean?
- A stutter dial tone indicates that you have a voice mail message waiting. To log in to your campus voice mail:
- Lift handset, dial 6666 (726-6666 from off-campus)
- Enter your mailbox number (last 4 digits of phone number) + #
- Enter your security code + #
- What is my initial voice mail security code?
- All voice mail boxes are set with the same initial security code: 12 + your mailbox number (last 4 digits of your phone number). You will be prompted to change it the first time you login to your voice mail.
- I changed my security code but can’t remember what it is - how do I reset it?
- Call ITSS Phone Maintenance (x8573).
