Open or Close Internet/Email Accounts

A number of basic access email/Internet accounts are available. Your UMD email/Internet account provides access to many network services, including email, Internet browsing, telnet access and ftp (file transfer protocol).

Requesting an account

You can request a UMD basic access email/Internet account by completing one of the following online web forms:

Standard Account
Sponsored Internet Customer
Non-Profit Organization or Government Agency (PDF)

There is a monthly email/central systems subsciption fee for sponsored, non-profit or government accounts.
