Novell Office Server Accounts

NOTE: For University employees only - no student accounts.

Use this form to:
* Open a new Novell account

* Change the type of service from Windows to Macintosh or vice-versa.

* Close a Novell account and delete all associated files.

* Move an account from one department to another.

Effective 7/1/06, Novell services are included as part of the overall ITSS network service for University employees, so there is no additional monthly charge.

Change an existing Novell account:: Change to Windows Full Service - Printing, file storage/sharing, software

Close a Novell account and delete all associated files: Remove Novell service; Note: All files in the personal folder for this account (H:\dept\user\) will be deleted. Move any department files stored in the personal folder to the department's shared (COMMON) area before removing the account.

Account name

Specify the Novell account to be opened, updated or closed: Novell account name:; For new faculty or staff accounts: Enter the University Internet ID / email name (for example: jdoe).; For new department accounts: Enter an 8-character name that begins with your department abbrevation (for example: itssdesk). Student Internet IDs will not be accepted.

File storage/sharing (full-service accounts only)
