Novell Office Server Accounts

NOTE: For University employees only - no student accounts.

Use this form to:
* Open a new Novell account

* Change the type of service from Windows to Macintosh or vice-versa.

* Close a Novell account and delete all associated files.

* Move an account from one department to another.

Effective 7/1/06, Novell services are included as part of the overall ITSS network service for University employees, so there is no additional monthly charge.

Close a Novell account and delete all associated files
Remove Novell service
Note: All files in the personal folder for this account (H:\dept\user\) will be deleted. Move any department files stored in the personal folder to the department's shared (COMMON) area before removing the account.

NOTE: Novell accounts are for faculty/staff only; accounts are not opened for students.
For new faculty or staff accounts: Enter the University Internet ID / email name (for example: jdoe).
For new department accounts: Enter an 8-character name that begins with your department abbrevation (for example: itssdesk). Student Internet IDs will not be accepted.
