Changing your Email/Internet password
- Go to: Change your Internet Password. Enter your University of Minnesota Internet ID (for example: ajohn0009) and select .

- Depending on the type of account you have, you will be automatically redirected to one of the following two web pages - click on the appropriate one for additional instructions.

University of Minnesota - Internet Login
- On the Internet Login screen, you will be prompted to enter your University Internet ID and
password - these are the account name and password you use for email. Type them in and select .

- On the Validation Level window, select .
- On the Internet Account Options screen, under Passwords/Security, select Change your Internet password.

- On the Change Internet Password screen, complete the following fields:
Change Internet Password to: Type in your new password.
Re-enter new Internet password: Type in your new password again to confirm it.
You may also complete the optional "Share a secret" field. If you enter a secret here, you will be asked for the secret by ITSS staff if you call for password assistance.
After completing all fields, select . Please note that it could take up to 15 minutes or more for the change to be pushed through.
University of Minnesota Duluth - Change your Internet Password
- On the Change your Internet Password screen, type in your current password, type in your new password, then type the new password again to confirm. Select to change your password.
