University Policies

Anti-Virus Protection: This standard defines the use of anti-virus software necessary for the protection of the University community and network.
Security Patch Application: This standard identifies the need to apply vendor-issued critical security updates and patches regularly to protect University data and systems. It applies to all electronic devices connected to the University network including computers, network switches and routers, personal digital assistant devices, laptop computers, etc.
Securiing Private Data: This standard provides the University community with baseline actions needed to protect private University electronic data stored on or accessed by computers and other electronic devices.
Secure Data Deletion: This standard defines the use of secure data deletion techniques necessary for the protection of University data and licensed software.
