- STAC Mission Statement

The goal of the STAC is to help UMD students meet their academic and personal technology learning goals and needs. The STAC is staffed by ITSS student employees that will provide one-on-one assistance to all students seeking help with software, hardware, password problems, digital cameras, and other technology issues. Students can also get basic help with virus problems. There is no charge for this service!!
- The STAC will be open Monday through Friday each week and will be located in Kirby Plaza 146 and Library 118. ITSS hopes all UMD students will take advantage of the STAC when help is needed.
- The STAC operates on a first come, first serve basis and accepts walk-in visits only.
- What can you expect to get help with?
- The STAC is equipped to help students with a variety of issues
dealing with computer use, setup or maintenance.
- We can help you with:
- Internet connectivity problems
- Wireless networking
- Viruses and spyware
- E-mail and file storage

- Setting up your computer
- Computer lab support
- ...and much more

- Chances are very good that we can help you with any and all computing needs. If we can't
solve your problem in person, we'll direct you to someone who can.
