Specifically: Macromedia Products (Dreamweaver, Flash), HTML, Adobe applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat), InDesign, Fetch, FTP, and SPSS.
- Familiarity with UMD computer labs

Consulting in Computer Labs for ITSS:
- answering basic software and hardware questions
- reporting complicated software and hardware questions to
staff
- trouble-shooting and solving basic software and hardware
problems
- reporting complicated hardware and software problems to staff
- monitoring software and hardware use
Maintaining the Computer Lab Environment
- understanding the security system
- monitoring lab equipment
- cleaning lab equipment and furniture
- identifying and requesting hardware and facility maintenance

Representing ITSS
to UMD Students, Faculty, and Staff:
- understanding ITSS policies and procedures
- referring customers to the appropriate documentation or staff
member
- representing ITSS and the University of Minnesota
- completing lab-access database operations and paperwork
