Training
- eClasses
- Learn web design while using the web with these online, instructor-led
courses. Our eClass environment is based on WebX, a threaded
messaging system. This format has no set meeting time, although
courses do have definite start and end dates. eClasses typically
run two weeks. This allows participants to attend class at a
time most convenient to them, yet it still provides logically
organized communication between class participants. It is a convenient
way to expand your knowledge and skills.
- Self Paced
Training
- Set your own
rate of learning with self-paced offerings. ITSS training
modules do not have specific start and end dates, so your work
may be scattered over a period of time, with instructor feedback.
Materials from our current and previous workshops, eClasses,
and presentations are available online for your learning pleasure.
Also check out what some outside training vendors have to offer.
- Technology Tuesdays at Two
- Become aware of a variety of technology topics at this training
series. The format will be an overview or demonstration followed
by informal discussion. No registration is required and all UMD
faculty, staff, and students are encouraged and welcome to attend.
- Workshops
- Participate in our face-2-face workshops! You can't beat
this price. Workshops are generally free, seating is
limited and advance registration is required.
- Web Design

of web sites. It also serves as an educational reference for
