INTRODUCTION TO EXCEL 2000
PROJECT ONE: WORKSHEET and BAR CHART
To follow the Excel 2000 workshop exercises, you need to have Excel 2000 for Windows or Excel 98 for Mac. If you have an ITSS office server connection, Excel is available to you at no additional charge. You will need to download Excel 2000 in order to perform these exercises.
You will make a worksheet and embed a bar chart into the worksheet.
- Learn to start Excel
- Select a cell or range of cells
- Enter Text and Numbers
- Use the Auto Sum button to sum a range of cells
- Copy a cell to a range of cells using the fill handle
- Format by changing the size of the font in a cell, bold cell entries and center cell over contents of a series of a column
- Apply the AutoFormat command to format a range
- Create a 3-D Column chart using the Chart Wizard
- Save a workbook
- Using Office Assistant and other online Help tools to answer your questions
