Breaking Down the Exercise
Elements
What are the elements of the exercise? Let's take a look:
- Five mini-experiments to conduct
- The same three objects for each mini-experiment
- Miscellaneous stuff to be determined (there's always miscellaneous stuff
to be determined)
- Learner preferences to address
- Visual
- Aural
- Read/Write
- Kinesthetic
Flash Terms
Flash, like any piece of software, has its own terms. Let's see what some of
the elements from above are called.
- Each mini-experiment may be thought of as a "scene"
- Scenes are made up of "layers"
- All mini-experiments or "scenes" combine to make a "movie"
- Objects are "symbols"
- When used in a "scene" the "symbol" becomes an "instance"
Let's start working with Flash to see these elements in action on "Torques
and Moments of Force."
