Breaking Down the Exercise

Elements

What are the elements of the exercise? Let's take a look:

  1. Five mini-experiments to conduct
  2. The same three objects for each mini-experiment
  3. Miscellaneous stuff to be determined (there's always miscellaneous stuff to be determined)
  4. Learner preferences to address
    1. Visual
    2. Aural
    3. Read/Write
    4. Kinesthetic

Flash Terms

Flash, like any piece of software, has its own terms. Let's see what some of the elements from above are called.

  1. Each mini-experiment may be thought of as a "scene"
  2. All mini-experiments or "scenes" combine to make a "movie"
  3. Objects are "symbols"

Let's start working with Flash to see these elements in action on "Torques and Moments of Force."
