Graphic image editing can be broken down into a total of four steps.
The size of your project doesn't matter.
The steps are the same whether you are working with one image or one thousand images - the latter is just more tedious! So what are the four steps?
AS ASas (prounounced like the word "as" - as asas)
- Acquire the image
- Save the image in the file format of your graphic image editing software
- Alter your image to suit your tastes and/or project
- Save as in the file format for your project
If you're doing a large project, these steps may be broken into two parts. Keep repeating Part 1 until you have all your images then proceed to Part 2.
Part 1 (AS)
- Acquire the image
- Save the image in the file format of your graphic image editing software
Part 2 (ASas)
- Alter your image to suit your tastes and/or project
- Save as in the file format for your project
Now that you know the steps, let's learn about each step. To start out, we'll use an image from an existing file. When you're ready, head on over to "Acquire the Image."
