Creating and Editing Tables 3
The table below is our building project. I'm not suggesting this is how you
should set up a table or how one should look. This is for practice purposes
only. Some of the skills to build this table you already have. Others will
be added as we go.
This table evaluates the hair of Bruce Reeves in
Fall of 1994

Below is the same table with the borders added in so you can see the cells.
It is a two (2) row, three (3) column table. Some items to note:
- A caption has been added to describe what the table is about
- The first column has been stretched over both rows
- The top row in the second column (Short or Long Hair?) and third column
(Long) has the text aligned to the top of the cell
- The third column has a yellow background (but not if you're using
Netscape Navigator 2.x or earlier)
- Cell spacing has been set to zero (0) and cell padding has been set to
two (2)

First create a table with two (2) rows and three (3) columns and the
following values:
- Cell Spacing: 0
- Cell Padding: 2
- Border: 0
- Table Width: delete the contents
Hit "enter" or "return" and head on over to "Creating and Editing Tables 4."
