Creating and Editing Tables 4

If you don't remember how to do a task, follow the reference link for the offending task.

  1. Add the caption for the table (Creating and Editing Tables)
  2. Make the caption bold
  3. Save my image from this Web page to your computer (Inserting an Image... Really)
  4. Insert the image into the first cell (Inserting an Image... Really)
  5. Enter the text into the appropriate cell (Creating and Editing Tables)
  6. Align the image to the left in the first cell (Text Wrapping and Clearing)
  7. Select the text in the first cell in the first column (Creating and Editing Tables)
    1. Increase the font size "+1"
  8. Select the second column (Creating and Editing Tables II)
    1. Make headers out of the column
    2. Left align the cells
  9. Select the second and third columns of the first row (Creating and Editing Tables II)
    1. In Inspector choose "Top" for "Vertical Align"
  10. Select the first column (Creating and Editing Tables II)
    1. Go to the menu "Edit"
    2. Choose "Table > Join Cells"
  11. Select this new cell (Creating and Editing Tables)
    1. In Inspector set "Table Cell," "Width Constraint" to "None"
  12. Select either cell in the second column (Creating and Editing Tables)
    1. In Inspector set "Table Cell," "Width Constraint" to "Percent" with a value of 25
      (note it affects the entire column)
  13. Select either cell in the third column (Creating and Editing Tables)
    1. In Inspector set the "Table Cell," "Width Constraint" to "Percent" with a value of 6
      (note it affects the entire column)
  14. Select both cells in the third column (Creating and Editing Tables)
    1. In Inspector choose the color yellow from the "Background:" drop down menu

I think that's everything - Whew!
