Streaming audio and video over the Internet can be very useful. Many times streaming is not needed as delivering audio and video from a standard http server (Web server or podcast server) will suffice. How do you decide? Do you know the difference?

Streaming delivery of audio and video at UMD is currently only available for QuickTime. Live events may also be streamed from this server in QuickTime format.
