Taking a Photo with the Sony Digital Camera

  1. Remove the lens cap.
  2. Turn on the power by sliding the POWER switch down. The POWER lamp will light up.
  3. Insert a floppy disk. You will hear it click.
  4. Frame your photo. Look through the viewfinder and compose the picture that you want to take.
  5. Set the camera to the STILL position.
  6. Record the photo.

    When the image is recorded on the disk the ACCESS lamp flashes. When the ACCESS lamp is flashing, never shake the camera. Also, do not turn the power off or remove floppy disk. Otherwise, an image data breakdown may occur and the floppy disk may become unusable. About 6 images will fit on a floppy with all of the default settings.
  7. Review your photos in the camera. Set the camera to the PLAY position to see the photos that you have taken.
  8. Remove the floppy disk. While sliding the EJECT lock down, slide the DISK EJECT in the direction of the arrow.
