Creating a Connection

To create a new connection to your website:

1. Start the Contribute program.
2. Click on the Contribute Icon
   Click on “Create a connection”
   
3. Enter the following address: (use your user Id or x.500 login after the tilde symbol ~) Example: http://www.d.umn.edu/~jdoe

   

4. From the drop-down menu select “Secure FTP”
   Enter the SFTP server: www.d.umn.edu
   SFTP username: enter your user ID or x.500 name
   SFTP password: enter your x.500 password
   

5. Click Next
   

6. Click Next
7. You will receive a confirmation, click Done.
