Add Teaching Assistants

Teaching assistants cannot perform any management tasks until added to a specific web drop course folder. You may have multiple TAs per course webdrop folder. Just follw the steps below once for each TA.

To add a TA, the creator of the webdrop folder should:

  1. If you have not done so already, access the webdrop program at: https://webdrop.d.umn.edu. You will need to authenticate using your x.500 username and password
  2. Click the link "Add Teaching Assistants to your folder"
  3. Pick the appropriate course by clicking the radio button to the left of the course and section identifier
  4. Click the button "Open Course Folder"
  5. Enter the userid of the TA in the appropriate field. For example: bjohnson
  6. Indicate if you will allow the TA to delete files from this webdrop folder by typing a "Y" or and "N" in the appropriate field
  7. Click the "Submit" button
  8. If successful, you will see a page indicating this
  9. To return to the main page, click the Web Dropfolder Main Page" link
