Operating System Services
ITSS TechCenter can upgrade your computer to a newer operating system (OS), or reinstall and configure your current OS in the event of a hard drive failure or a serious malware infection. When upgrading or reintalling the OS, please note that all software programs will need to be manually reinstalled as they are not part of the data backup/restore process. You may choose to reinstall these items yourself, or request that ITSS do this as a billable service.
- For University computers: We will install the current version of the operating system (Windows or Apple) and Microsoft Office available under any campus agreements or site license.
- For personal computers: The customer must provide the media and product key for the operating system and for any additional software to be installed.
