Templates allow users to easily create a series of web pages with a similar format. Templates and style sheets with the standard UMD design are available for all departments to use. For details, see:
A number of web development software packages are available on the office server, including Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash and Fireworks. This software is available to all faculty and staff who have a full-service Novell account. Additionally, faculty can request some free or reduced-price software through the Facutly Tool Kit.
Some tools, such as WS_FTP, Fetch and VPN, are available for all students, faculty and staff on the UMD Software Download Site.
