Kirby Student Center

Student Awards are the only recognition awards at UMD where all recipients are selected by UMD students.  The Student Awards range in categories from Outstanding Faculty and Staff to Outstanding Student Organization of the Year and happen in the spring of any given academic year.  The Student Awards include the prestigious Sieur Du Luth Award, given to an exceptional student leader – typically a senior.   Any faculty, staff, or student can nominate an individual for a Student Award.  The Student Awards selection committees are comprised of UMD student volunteers and are coordinated by Student Activities and Leadership Development.
