The Graduation Planner is an online, interactive, way for students to plan for their graduation.

Students are able to:

  • Plan for their declared major/minor or for "what-if" majors
  • View their degree requirements
  • Pick a term in which to take courses
  • See what term courses are generally offered
  • See the number of course credits
  • View prerequisites for the course
  • Create notes
  • Send planned courses to APAS report to see if all requirements will be met
  • View a visual display of when courses are planned
  • See their grades in the plan after grades are posted
  • See comments from your Advisers on your plans
  • Advisers are able to:

  • View students plans to see if they are on track
  • View advisees plans and comment online or request advisees bring a copy of their plan to advising sessions to streamline discussion around coursework
  • Spend more time discussing graduate school, internships, and jobs

    The Graduation Planner is now LIVE for students. You can go to the UMD homepage and click on Current Students and find the link under the Records heading or you can type in plan.umn.edu in the URL address section.
