Any student may be a member of Student Association. To hold a seat on Student Association you need to fill out an application for the position you are interested in obtaining. These applications are available for you to pick up in the Student Associatio n in Office in the beginning of March. Elections are held during the second week of April.
The Student Association also has freshmen positions (president, vice-president, secretary, and also 5 Representatives at large). Applications for these positions are available during the first weeks of the fall quarter. Elections for these positions are held in the middle of fall quarter. If you are interested in running for one of these positions, please stop in the SA office.
Another way to get involved in Student Association is by filing out an application to be a Representative at large. Those applications are looked at and interviews are given. The Representatives are appointed by the committee chairs of all SA committees. Also, at the end of the year the new president appoints the executive board for the next year. The president also chooses who sits on the campus committees. We seriously hope that you will become involved in Student Association.
