Sitting by yourself? Are you bored? If so, get up and get out. Find out what UMD has to offer you. Explore the many student organizations and UMD resources now available to you.

"Note Taking"

Do your professors talk faster than you write? Do you leave class with a sore hand and a swimming head? This is a workshop filled with techniques to help you adjust to college level courses and material.

"Getting What You Want From Drinking"

Hangovers, Beer gut. Weight gain. Accidents. These are just some of the things people probably don't want from drinking. If you choose to drink, we will introduce strategies and discussion to make it safer.

"Getting What You Want From Sex"

It's up to you to get what you want from sex. It's also up to you to avoid what you don't want. Ten thought-provoking questions will help people assess what they want, and expect in a sexual relationship. We will also explore common sexual myths, learn the importance of birth control and condoms in protecting against unintended pregnancy and STDs.

Majors & Minors Expo: Find Your Niche - Expand Your View

An all campus event. Everything you have ever wanted to know about UMD majors and minors. Stop by for answers to your questions about major/minor requirements, career options, and how to get started in your chosen field of study. A great opportunity for "undecided" students to explore all of UMD's majors at one time! Pick up major handouts, request a change in major, or simply make sure that you are on the right track. Free popcorn and prize drawings.

"Healthy Living"

Are you looking for ways to improve your health? Come join us to find alternatives to crazy dieting and excessive exercise. Learn what it really means to be healthy in both mind and body. Also, learn simple techniques that will help you minimize your stress level and maintain perspective.

Where do I begin? Am I going to survive? Am I studying effectively? This is a workshop which pays ... Gather hints and put them to use.
