Sign up in Rec sports office & pick up materials. (program is FREE w/paid
entry into F.I.T program, otherwise cost is $5)
Record your weekly totals on the FIT LOG (on the back of this page)
When done, bring FIT LOG to the Rec Sports office to pick up award.
- 100 MILE CHALANGE finishers receive a FREE t-shirt!
- With the completion of 100 aerobic mile equivalents within a 10-week
period, you will be awarded a HEALTHY PEOPLE PROGRAM
T-shirt. (with $5 paid fee for program entry)
- Aerobics --- 15 minutes
- Bicycling (13 mph) --- 15 minutes
- Jogging (9-10 min./mile) --- 10 minutes
- Skating (vigorous pace) --- 15 minutes
- Skiing (x-country, moderate) --- 15 minutes
- Swimming (moderate pace) --- 15 minutes
- Weight training (circuit) --- 15 minutes
- Walking (3 mph pace) --- 20 minutes
- Work (heavy, like digging) --- 25 minutes
Note -- the above minutes are equivalent to one aerobic
mile

For example: 30 min. of aerobics equals 2 aerobic miles
