Life Fitness Programs
- Instructional Programs Life Fitness at UMD provides a
wide variety of fitness and wellness opportunities for all skill levels.
- Special Events and Races Life Fitness offers a wide
variety of special events and races.
- Fitness Inventory Testing:
- a fitness testing program that measures
your percent body fat, strength, aerobic endurance, flexibility, diet,
and blood pressure. The results are then used to design your won
personalized exercise program.
- Mileage Club:
- finish 100 miles of running or the equivalent in
another aerobic sport (swimming, biking, aerobics, walking) in a 10 week
period and receive a Life Fit water bottle or t-shirt
- Master's Swim:
- a coached swimming program for those with some
background in swimming.
- Women in the weight room:
- a coached weight-training program for women
only.
- Cross training/Tri team:
- trained coaches will systematically train
individuals to improve their fitness and skill in running, swimming and
biking.
