LUTHERAN LAKESIDE CAMP JOB OPPORTUNITIES Lutheran Lakeside Camp is located on 133 acres right in the heart of the Okoboji area of Northwestern Iowa. Lakeside was founded in 1960 and has a long tradition of strong sailing progams as well as recently developed bike expeditions and climbing adventures. The focus is youth Christian character development within Gods creation and what this means to campers when they go home. The camp strives to give all campers opportunities to excell and make good choices in a safe atmosphere. The camp is currently offering opportunities for people to join the staff family and become involved in this noble pursuit. Positions that are still available are: counselors, kitchen assistants, arts & crafts leader, and maintenance assistant. DIRECTOR OF CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILY MINISTRY Edina Community Lutheran Church, Edina, MN (PT)
A medium-sized, inclusive, energetic and RIC congregation is looking for a dedicated person to coordinate our children, youth and family programming to ensure that children (0-18 years) and their families are fully intregrated into the gathering, growing and giving of the congregation.
Qualifications include:
A solid theological grounding in the Lutheran faith;
understanding of human development;
strong interpersonal and team member skills; and
a minimum of college-level education in children and youth ministry or
an education background with experience in a congregational setting.
15 to 20 hrs/wk
