Unacceptable

  • Refuses assignments.
  • Actively undermines team efforts.
  • Acts condescendingly towards other team members.
  • Unable to work with one or more team members.
  • Consistently uncooperative.
  • Does not accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Withholds critical pieces of information.
Needs Improvement
  • Does not accomplish team assignments by deadline.
  • Puts forth minimum effort.
  • Does not support and/or encourage team efforts.
  • Dominates team discussions.
  • Usually negative without providing alternate suggestions.
  • Makes negative comments/statements.
  • Needs to balance factual and subjective statements.
  • Declines assignments.
  • Overextends self.
Meets Expectations
  • Contributes to team's efforts.
  • Shares knowledge and expertise with all others on the team.
  • Participates in all meetings and discussions.
  • Allows discussion to proceed and issues to be investigated.
  • Carries out meeting and other assignments with attention to quality and timeliness. This includes replying to requests for information or input from other members of the team.
  • Participates/cooperates in team projects at a level acceptable to all team members.
  • Confronts directly the other person(s) involved when having interpersonal problems.
  • Supports and encourages each other's efforts, celebrates each other's accomplishments, and empathizes with attempts which did not turn out as planned.
Exceeds Expectations
  • When presenting problems proposes possible solutions.
  • Volunteers for team projects.
  • Takes on and completes additional assignments.
  • Encourages other team members.
  • Acts as a role model for other team members.
  • Works well with others in spite of interpersonal problems.
  • When absent from meetings provides information they are responsible for so that the meeting can go forward.
Achieves Excellence
  • Assesses when other members of the team need help and volunteers.
  • Team counts on that person to share the work load.
