Circulation Services Department

The Circulation Services Team is responsible for circulating, retrieving, and maintaining most of the materials owned by the UMD Library, including multimedia and duplicating equipment. The team obtains materials through Interlibrary Loan from other libraries and vendors for UMD students, faculty, and staff. The Department is responsible for providing Reserve services and basic information services at the Circulation Desk. Other services provided include searches and saves, recalls, and media booking or study room booking.

The Circulation desk area (see map) is located just inside the main entrance of the Library. The telephone number at the Circulation desk is (218) 726-6120. You may call this number to renew items that you have checked out.
