Borrowing Privileges for UMD Undergraduate Students
In order to check out materials from the UMD Library, you must present a photo I.D. Please bring items for checkout to the Circulation desk, located on the first floor of the Library. Undergraduates may borrow up to 50 items at one time.
Renew It Three Ways!
For your convenience, the Library provides three different ways for you to renew UMD-owned items: (1) in person at the Circulation desk, (2) by calling 218-726-6120 during hours when the Library is open, and (3) online by using "My Account." You will need to have a UMD internet user name and password to renew materials online. To renew materials borrowed through Interlibrary Loan, log into your ILLiad account. The length of time during which an item may be renewed is limited. See a Circulation staff member if you encounter any difficulty renewing materials.
