Book Collection
The UMD Library's collection of printed books is made up of approximately 230,000 volumes and is constantly updated. New acquisitions are selected by our reference librarians with input from department faculty. Our books ordinarily can be checked out for four weeks at a time, and are renewable, according ot our circulation policies.
