Comprehensive collection of digitized items that were published in the American colonies/United States from 1639; includes publications on a wide range of subject areas as well in a variety of genres (sermons, dictionaries, etc.); special section of materials on the history of printing including publishers, printers, and booksellers.  
Dates of Coverage:  1649-1800 
Special Features: Search by keyword (in citation or text of document), subject, title, author, topic, genre, language, publisher, place of publication. Browse by all of aforementioned except keyword and publisher. Special section on the history of printing. Individual pages may be printed or downloaded; complete publications may be downloaded.
