You will be prompted to select a reference library within Endnote. Choose the correct library and click OPEN. Highlight the UnionLists (OCLC) filter at the next screen and click CHOOSE. The citations will be imported into your designated reference library.	This filter is for use with the OCLC Union Lists of Periodicals. Since there is no reference type for serials, all records from this database are imported as Generic. To avoid loss of data, year ranges (which have their origin in MARC tag 008, bytes 07-14) are imported into the Date field.Nor does the Generic reference type have the necessary fields for describing serials; therefore, many data elements such as Preceding and Succeding Titles are imported into the Notes field, Description data is unparsed and imported into the Volume field, and so on. Archival and serial items often have two years which express a range (from MARC21 tag 008, bytes 07-14), therefore, to avoid data loss, the year(s) for these materials are imported into the Date field instead of the Year field.2. Sometimes the Author(s) field contains corporate authors, which EndNote will try to parse as if they were the names of individuals, inserting a comma before the last word. Users must move this comma to the end of the corporate author's name after importing.3. Sometimes the Author(s) field contains parenthetical information which interferes with EndNote's author parsing capabilities. Users may need to manually clean up the Author field after importing, removing any unwanted data.4. WorldCat contains chiefly non-Journal Article records, many of which have complex pagination. The "p." which accompanies page numbers is not filtered out, because its absence would cause confusion in items with complex pagination.
