Book Fair Information

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of NEMBA, the UMD Library is pleased to be working in collaboration with Lake Superior Writers. This collaboration includes an expanded book fair, book readings, and refreshments available in the UMD Tweed Museum of Art.

Books nominated for the 20th annual Northeastern Minnesota Book Awards as well as many other regional titles will be available and on sale at the NEMBA Book Fair.

We welcome local authors and publishers to participate in the book fair this year.   Please fill out this form to reserve your table for the book sale.

Writing Workshop: Saturday, May 17, 2008

 

A writing workshop with Bill Holm will be held from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, May 17, in the Rotunda of the UMD Library.  The cost will be $35 for Lake Superior Writers members and $40 for others.  Space is limited, so pre-registration is advised.  Contact Lake Superior Writers by phone (218-722-3094) or email.  This is a great opportunity to work with a unique writer and wonderful teacher.
