How to Support
The Northeastern Minnesota Book Awards

Friends and supporters of the NEMBA have several options for providing support.

• Option 1: Volunteer to be a member of the reading team that selects the winning book and honorable mention in one of six categories: (1) General Nonfiction, (2) Fiction, (3) Art / Photography, (4) Children's Literature, (5) Poetry, and (6) Memoir / Creative Nonfiction.
  
  
• Option 2: Attend the event and be an enthusiastic reader of great literature about our region.
  
  
• Option 3: Be a literary benefactor! Sign on as a financial contributor to this year's celebration. Choose the level of support that works for you, and receive acknowledgment for your gift at the event.
  
  
• Option 4: Invest in the future of the Northeastern Minnesota Book Awards. Donations made to the UMD Friends of the Library Fund go into an endowment set aside to secure NEMBA in the future, and your gifts can grow into a lasting legacy to honor literature in future years.
