ABSTRACT SUMMARY OF COLLECTION
The 125th Field Artillery Auxiliary is an organization of wives, sisters, and daughters of any man in the service of our country. They meet nine times a year. Most of their activities center on serving the veteran and promoting Americanism. These activities include hospital visits, luncheons, and poppy sales.
This collection includes: unit constitution, newsletters, applications for membership, Emergency Service Questionnaire, citations, Unit History, minutes, newspaper clippings, blue books, financial records, correspondence, manual of ceremonies, annual reports, poppy booklet, unit plays, historical pageant poster, two early photographs of the bugle corps, and membership records. It also contains finance records, membership records, minutes, correspondence and newspaper clippings for MOM's (Mothers of Men in Action), a club which grew from the Auxiliary.

These records were originally kept in the war memorial room of the St. Louis County Courthouse. In the 1970's, due to the inactivity of Duluth area Veterans' organizations, these records were moved to the attic of the courthouse. In 1978, the St. Louis County Historical Society was contacted by Courthouse employees who requested that these records be removed. St. Louis County Historical Society employees transported the records to the Northeast Minnesota Historical Center in June, 1978.
