Children's Literature Collection

The Children's Literature Collection consists of children's fiction and nonfiction books (for preschool to age 13). This collection is located on the third floor on the right side. The Children's Literature materials are after the print government documents. .

Search for Children's Literature

  1. Click on the Library Catalog tab and then on Advanced Search. Check to make sure the Library Catalog is highlighted.
  2. Change Search Scope to Children's Literature.
  3. In the search box, type in your search.
  4. Use the left navigation column to narrow your search.

When looking for fiction books, it is good to have the authors last name.

Books are arranged by PRIM-FIC (picture books); INTR-FIC (intermediate fiction books; and Dewey Decimal 0-999 (nonfiction) located on the third floor.
