HIGHLIGHTERS FOR IRREGULAR SERIALS #3
TITLE KEYWORD INDEX FOR YEARBOOK OF
ASTRONOMY 1988-2008
Compiled by Tom Zogg, Pure Sciences and Geography Librarian
This illustrated, annual almanac of astronomical information is edited by Patrick Moore, noted British astronomer and writer. UMD Library has this yearbook 1988-1993, published by W.W. Norton, and 1996-2008, published by Macmillan.
Each yearbook is in three parts. Part I is "Monthly Charts and Astronomical Phenomena" and has the same chapter headings in each volume. Part II is the "Article Section," where there are 6-10 general or opinion articles on a wide variety of topics. Part III, entitled "Miscellaneous," includes brief biographical entries of the article authors in Part II.
The classification number of this yearbook is QB 1 .Y4 [year], with the latest edition in reference (2nd floor, UMD Library) and all earlier years in the circulating collection (4th floor, UMD Library)..
Below is a title keyword/contents index for the nineteen volumes. Matched with each keyword term/phrase is the year(s) and page number(s) of the volume(s).
