RefWorks Import Directions

Google Scholar

First you will need to set up RefWorks feature in Google Scholar

  1. From the Google Scholar search page, click on Settings.
  2. Scroll down to the Bibliography Manager section.
  3. At "Show Links to Import into", select RefWorks from the drop down box.
  4. Click Save.

To export citations to RefWorks do the following.

  1. Conduct your search in Google Scholar and select a citation.
  2. Click on Import into RefWorks under citation.
  3. RefWorks will open in another window. Sign into your account.
  4. In RefWorks, click on View Last Imported Folder to see the citation added.
  5. Google Scholar allows only one citation to be imported at a time.
