What is RSS?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. With RSS feeds, people can receive the latest news or content changes without having to regularly visit the site to check for updates. Many web browsers now include automatic checking for RSS feeds when you visit a website, and display an icon when they find one. This can make subscribing to RSS feeds much simpler. more

Where can I find a news reader?

There are quite a few RSS feed readers out there, and many are free. If you use Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Thunderbird, you already have a news reader since these have readers built in. Web-based readers usually ask you to register, then all you need to do is simply cut and paste the URL of the RSS feed into an "Add subscription" or "Add Feed / RSS by URL" box to start viewing the content. Here are some RSS aggregators:

How to subscribe to our feeds

  • Click on the the feed icon RSS Feed for all new material next to the content you want to subscribe to. You can choose to receive your feeds in Bloglines, My Yahoo!, Newsgator, and many other news readers. You can also subscribe to feeds using Live Bookmarks by clicking the "View Feed XML" link.

If you decide that RSS readers are not for you, you can have the contents of feeds sent to you via email.
