Printing in the Library
Before you can print, you need to have money on either:
a U Card...
or a Campus Cash Card
Faculty, staff and enrolled students can pay for printing with a U Card or a Campus Cash Card. Non-UMD people using guest computers can buy a Campus Cash Card for $1.00 at any cash-to-card machine. To put value on either type of card, visit one of the cash-to-card machine locations—near the library's first floor restrooms, the Kirby Welcome desk, or the the Swenson Science building.
Printers are on floors 1, 2, and 3 of the library. When you send a job to the system, it sits in the queue until you retrieve it. Go to any printer station, (inside or outside the library) swipe your U Card or Campus Cash Card through the small black card reader, highlight your print job on the screen, and click "print." Print jobs not claimed within two hours disappear from the queue.
