Stress-less Week in the Library

April 24–29, 2016


Stress-less Week, the library's popular series of events designed to help students relieve stress before finals week, will return this April. Events take place the week of April 24–29 and are free for all UMD students! This semester's lineup includes:

Stress-less Kickoff Night

April 24, 8:00pm–12:00am, Library second floor
Kick off Stress-less Week with free snacks, prizes, and hourly wellness breaks in the Learning Commons! Tutors, writing consultants, Multimedia Hub staff, and reference librarians will be on hand for after-hours help with those last minute projects.

Sketch Bomb

Unleash your inner graphic artist and join comic/graphic artist John Hoban for a "sketch bomb" in the library! No art skills required: students of all skill levels are invited to sketch and share their art on a page.

Pet Away Worry & Stress (PAWS)

Thursday

April 28, 11:00am–1:00pm, Kirby Lounge
Stop by and stress less with some lovable canines, cats and miniature horses! Representatives from Humane Educators and Animal Allies will be on campus with animals to play with, hold, and pet! Sponsored by Animal Allies, KUMD, Kathryn A. Martin Library, UMD Employee Wellness and Health Services. Volunteer support provided by SERVE.
