- The Lake Malawi Drilling Project:
- Information about plans to recover a series of ~400 m-long sediment cores from Lake Malawi, East Africa.
- The NYANZA PROJECT:
- IDEAL's response to the tropical lake science training needs of undergraduates and early career professionals. This program is open to U.S. undergraduates, U.S. high school science teachers, and undergraduate or post-graduate level students and early career-stage professionals in Burundi, Tanzania, Zambia, or the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
- DOSECC (Drilling, Observation and Sampling of the Earth's Continental Crust):
- A consortium of universities, national laboratories and a state geological survey, organized to assist scientists in the implementation of Continental Scientific Drilling (CSD) projects. DOSECC is the operator of the GLAD 800 - R/V Kerry Kelts, the drilling system that will be used during the Lake Malawi Drilling Project.
