Courses in Limnology
Limnology is the scientific study of lakes, rivers, and wetlands. It
is an interdisciplinary science, encompassing the biology, chemistry,
geology, and physics of these aquatic systems. The "core" courses that
make up the limnology sequence are Limnology 5004 - 5103 and Biology
5861. These courses are designed to be taken in the second half of the
junior year and first half of the senior year, and cover the physics,
chemistry, geology, and biology of aquatic systems.
