Graduate Studies in Limnology

CoreStudents may pursue graduate studies with LLO faculty through existing M.S. and Ph.D. programs in Geology , Physics or Chemistry , or through a M.S. and Ph.D. program in Water Resources Sciences that serves both the Twin Cities and Duluth Campuses. We are part of a very strong inter-campus program in LiMNology, which is described further at http://www.limnology.umn.edu/ . Graduate programs on both the Duluth and Twin Cities campuses are administered by the Graduate School of the University of Minnesota. The Limnology track within the Graduate Program in Water Resources Science is designed for students with undergraduate degrees in any of the sciences or engineering who have interest in pursuing a career that involves application of their scientific or engineering expertise to lakes.
