RESEARCH INTERESTS

  • Paleoenvironments, Paleotectonics, and Carbonate/Clastic Seismic and Sequence Stratigraphy of the Tethyan region (Middle East).
  • Quaternary glacial deposits including lacustrine and eolian sediments and Geomorphic analysis for use in aggregate exploration.
  • Remote Sensing techniques, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), and Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) for use in scientific investigations.
