The genesis of this program is to acknowledge and celebrate alumni and friends of LSBE.
These awards recognize significant accomplishments in business, professional life or
specific and meritorious service to UMD, their community, state, or nation.

Nominations sought for 2007 Alumni and Friends Recognition Awards

The LSBE CARE committee is soliciting nominations for the 2007 Alumni and Friends Recognition Program that recognizes alumni and friends of the School who have made significant contributions in business, professional life or specific and meritorious service to UMD, there community, state or nation. This year’s recipients will be honored this fall. Brief description of each award follows:

DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENT AWARD is presented to University of Minnesota Duluth Labovitz School of Business and Economics or Economics alumni for significant accomplishments in business or professional life. Download a Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award Nomination Form.

EMERGING LEADER AWARD is presented to University of Minnesota Duluth Labovitz School of Business and Economics or Economics alumni, graduating within the past ten years, for significant accomplishments in business or professional life or for specific and meritorious service to UMD, their community, their state, or their nation. FRIEND OF THE LABOVITZ SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AND ECONOMICS AWARD is presented to individuals for significant accomplishments in business or professional life or for specific and meritorious service to UMD, their community, their state, or their nation.
