Bulldog Fund, LLC

The pinnacle of the LSBE Financial Markets Program is the management of the Bulldog Fund, LLC. Through the generosity of the Northland Foundation, North Star Foundation, and the Labovitz School of Business & Economics substantial assets have been raised for the support of the Bulldog Fund, LLC.

Students participating in the LSBE Financial Markets Program gain invaluable investment experience, striving to deliver excess returns for investors through active research, analysis and management of the “fund”.

Students work in small groups conducting research utilizing components of fundamental, technical, and quantitative analysis. Groups are frequently given the opportunity to present investment ideas to the program’s Investment Oversight Committee (IOC).

Students participants are responsible for managing all aspects of the Bulldog Fund, LLC; from research through administration. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, implementing investment recommendations, daily cash management, and monthly performance attribution and reporting. It is our belief the uniqueness of this opportunity gives our students a competitive edge over students from other academic institutions.
