Requirements for the Bachelor of Business Administration degree & Bachelor of Accounting degree

Lower Division Requirements for both degrees:

First Year
SSP 1000 (fall semester): Introduction to College Learning.
Review course from math placement exam (if needed to prepare for Math 1160)
Econ 1022 and 1023 (one each term): Principles of Economics: Macroeconomics and Microeconomics
Comp 1120: College Writing
Math 1160: Finite Math, Introduction to Calculus or Math 1296, Calculus I, depending on placement

Second Year
Acct 2001 (fall semester): Principles of Financial Accounting
Acct 2002 (spring semester): Principles of Managerial Accounting
BLaw 2001: The Legal Environment
Econ 2030: Applied Statistics for Business and Economics
FMIS 2201: Information Technology in Business
FMIS 2225 (required for MIS majors and minors, FMIS 2201 is a pre-requisite): Introduction to Visual Basic .NET Programming

First or Second Year, Either Term
Comm 1112/1222: Public Speaking / Interpersonal Communication (Or, see Student Affairs for advisement if studying a foreign language at the college level)
