management studies
Management students at LSBE learn not only to manage, but to understand the process of
management. They learn to research and how to use research findings to find solutions. They work with business and
community leaders, gaining experience in real-world applications. When they leave our campus, they leave as critical
thinkers, asking not what “is” but what “could be.”

We are committed to creating these types of managers through intellectual growth and development, and we use
four symbols to illustrate our program.

The book: reflection of knowledge
The evergreens: growth of intellect
The lighthouse: beacon of enlightenment
The circle: continuous circle of learning
