Rotaract

UMD Rotaract is a college level Rotary club open to all students. Rotaract provides students the opportunity to grow personally and professionally, practice and promote ethical standards, and build leadership skills. Rotaract seeks to inform students about different occupations and general information about life after graduation in the business environment. We also participate in service projects for the campus and community, which is a very important part of the organization.

Rotaract members meet Mondays at noon, every other week for about an hour. We interact with guest speakers from the local business community, as well as alumni from LSBE and other Rotarians in the area. To be a member, we require 60% attendance at meetings and $15 dues per year (which help to cover the cost of lunches at meetings and speaker thank you gifts).
